Symbol Technologies has come up with a tough and efficient barcode scanner-Motorola P360. This rugged barcode scanning device can easily collect data with it’s ergonomically designed exterior. It has a fantastic pistol grip which makes it convenient to hold and operate. It captures data fast and accurately.

Motorola P360 is a corded handheld barcode scanner. It allows both automatic scanning and keyed data entry. The latter feature can be used if you want to enter inventory quantities and other numerical data. It has an IP54-rated seal which protects the device from dust, fluctuating temperature and moisture. This ensures that the performance is consistent in any type of environment; whether you are using it in an air-conditioned retail or and a stuffy backroom, its performance will remain unaffected.

Motorola P360 has a flat upper surface which houses a 17-key alphanumeric keypad and a 2-line x 20-character display screen. The screen allows the user to confirm the decoding data immediately after scanning so they don’t have to waste time later rechecking on a computer if all the data is captured.

Motorola P360 is pre-loaded with inventory application software which scans and stores barcode data without any hassles. It has a non-volatile memory which means it stores data even if the device is losing power. It has two memory space options-4 or 8MB which is good enough space to store inventory counts and look-up tables.

If you wish to customize your data management applications then you could choose the optional MCL-Designer which allows creating custom-made data for your inventory and other data management applications.

Motorola P360 has a flash memory which allows easy upgrades of host software making it a very versatile barcode scanning device. Motorola P360 supports 123Scan Utility software and advanced data formatting which allows integration of scanned data into the existing host application without any hassles.
